Met the owner, Lydia Kennedy, of Reactivate this afternoon and was very impressed with her business acumen and more impressed with her commitment to the Tucson Community. This is a company that Tucson should be supporting as she is dedicated to the fitness and wellness of area citizens.
Thanks much Lydia for your positive energy and civic-mindedness. I will be back to your store often as it continues to grow!!

I weighed 390 pounds. After a scare with cancer and diabetes, I decided to ReActivate myself by going to the gym 7 days a week and eating healthier. By being disciplined and active, I lost 210 pounds and have kept the weight off. I am grateful to companies like ReActivate who promote fitness and encourage people to be and stay active. Being active changed my life for the better!

I am 83 years old and I'm here to tell you that it's never to late to ReActivate yourself. Staying active is so important to your body & your health (mentally & physically). I let my body go by being inactive for many years. Now, I am in physical therapy and doing exercises regularly, including walking a mile a day. I feel better and stronger. Learn from me and get active and stay active. You and your body will be grateful when you are my age. I love that ReActivate is here to promote fitness and make it affordable for everyone. I always thought fitness was going to the gym and was so expensive. That's not true. I do my exercises and walk a mile a day around the house or the store. I am grateful for ReActivate for motivating and inspiring me to keep active.

Several years ago, before moving to Arizona, I started a running group for overweight teenage girls in rural Kentucky. What I found to be the most frustrating thing in this endeavor was the availability of the simple basics for these girls...sports bras, running shoes, shorts and shirts. That's it. Most came from families who could barely afford to shop at Walmart. I would have loved to have had a place like ReActivate for two reasons: 1) a great place for the girls to get the things they needed to be active and 2) ReActivate is about giving back to the community and would have been an amazing resource for these girls and their families. I'm so happy to see ReActivate open its doors in Tucson!
